LES Ingredients

- 2 pears (or 4 canned pear halves)

- 2 tablespoons of butter

- 2 tablespoons of sugar

- 20ml of Mélopépo (Melon & Almond Liqueur)

- 1 mint leaf

Flambéed Pears with Melopépo
  1. Melt the butter in the pan.
  2. Add the sugar and then the juice from the canned pears (add 1/2 glass of water if using fresh pears), just enough to cover the bottom of the pan.
  3. Heat until the syrup thickens a little.
  4. Add the pears and turn them once or twice.
  5. Heat the Mélopépo (Melon & Almond Liqueur).
  6. Add it to the pears and flambé.
  7. Put on a plate and decorate with a mint leaf.
