- 12cl of P'tit Bleu Pastis

- 9cl of butter

- 12cl of cream

- 700g of potatoes

- 3 pinches of grated nutmeg

- Salt & white pepper

Mashed Potatoes with P'tit Bleu Pastis

What could be simpler than mashed potatoes?

Yes, but thanks to P'tit Bleu Pastis, it will take on an astonishing emerald colour that reminding of the colour of the sea.

The aniseed flavour will give freshness and lightness for a perfect association with fish.
Perfect for an outdoor meal, directly on the beach!

  1. Peel the potatoes, dice them and steam them until they are soft and tender. Drain completely.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter. Add the P'tit Bleu Pastis. Simmer for one minute.
  3. Add the potatoes to the P'tit Bleu sauce. Mash them, add the cream until you have a nice texture.
  4. Grate the nutmeg into the mash. Add salt and white pepper to taste.
  5. Serve this beautiful side dish next to a white fish with the butter sauce.
